I use a wireless unit running Windows CE Pro 5.0 and connect to a Windows XP
Pro machine to to remote work and I always use the same application. I
though to make life easier I would check the Option "Start the following
program on connection" under the programs tab and enter the path and
filename for my application. But it does not start my application. I have
ruled out the problem being with Windows CE because it doesn't work no
matter where the client comes from. Also it's not the application I am
trying to get to auto start as I have tried simple programs (notepad.exe,
calc.exe etc) and they do not run on connection eiother. I have also tried
the same scenario's connecting to a windows 2003 server and it works
beautifully under that O/S, it connects I log in, my application starts. I
exit my application and it auto logs me off the sever.
What am I missing to get this to function under a windows XP Pro enviroment?
