I have been using win XP remote desktop to connect to my
W2K server with Terminal services, and am able to
connect. What I need to do now is be able to transfer
files. I have tried to use the option to connect local
drives, but it will not work. I also tried installing the
clipboard file copy-transfer add-on to the server TS
program, but have had no luck. Is there something that I
am doing wrong? Or will it just not work?

Neither of those methods will work.

The RDP on Windows 2000 is 5.0, and the file transfer came in with 5.1 in
XP. There is mention of file transfers in the UI under Windows 2000, but
that is for the Citrix add-on.

The clipboard method works only with the original client for Windows 2000
TS.

What DOES work, is Analogx's TSDropcopy. I use this all the time in remote
admin situations.

It may not be so easy to get approved to use it on an application mode
terminal server, however.
