I upgraded Windows 95 to XP Professional and found that
when Outlook Express 5 upgraded to Outlook Express 6, I
lost all of the email I had in my inbox. My addresses
remained but I cannot locate my email messages. Can
someone help?

One cannot upgrade from Windows 95 to Windows XP.
You probably selected "New Installation", thereby installing
XP in the same Windows 95 partition and overwriting all
your email messages.

Try the tips in this article:

Mail Folders, Address Book, and E-mail Messages Are Missing After You Upgrade to Microsoft Windows XP

If you find your messages, back them up and consider performing
a "clean install" of Windows XP.

As Windows 95 to Windows XP is not a valid upgrade you would have to have
performed a clean installation - you've only got yourself to blame if you
didn't a) read the box and b) back up your important files before commencing
the installation. I have no sympathy with you whatsoever.
