XPS 600, Windows Professional crashed (Again). Reinstalling. Tried to
create disks from MS zip svc pk 2 download. Right after designating drive
for extraction process stops. no error msg. Disks are formatted. Any help
will be appreciated. Thanks, DennisB

Wrong place for XP SP2 support...this newsgroup is for discussion of
Windows Defender Beta.

Thanks. Unfortunately I have to use my laptop with xp home on it to retrieve
any data. I have tried to download XP sp2 for xp prof but cannot find a way.
I thought that I might be able to burn the cd's from the laptop but no go.
I appreciate all the info.
