Windows XP professional Password forgot

I have windowsXP professional and completely lost
password. This was an admin password. How can i get access
to it. IS there a way around this or do i have to do a
reinstall, Please advise kindly. Remember it is
administrator password that is lost

Is it AN Administrator, or THE Administrator? There's a difference. If its
AN Administrator, press CTRL-ALT-DEL twice at the Welcome Screen with no
other users logged on. You'll get the old Win2K style logon. Enter
Administrator, and any password you may have assigned to this account during
Setup, if any.

If it was THE Administrator account,
