Okay, I'm at the end of my rope with this one.
I have a windows XP Notebook that connected to a windows 2000 Server
running DNS, with forwarding. They are connected to a Linksys wireless
router (notebook is wireless, server is CAT5).
As you can see I said connected, it doesn't anymore.
I use the notebook on the internet and print to a printer on a windows
2000 system also connected to the Linksys and server.
So, the other day I fired up the notebook, went to print, and couldn't
connect to the printer. found out I couldn't see anything on the
network. I've been messing with configurations ever since. I removed
the notebook from the Domain and now I can't reconnect it(error code
0x0000274D WSAECONNREFUSED). I've changed wireless cards, tried
hardwiring it(cat5). Now here is the "funny" thing, I can still get on
the internet (the router assigns the IP) but I can't ping anything,
not even the router that issued the IP. I've tried configuring the DNS
to point to the server, no luck. HELP!
