When Windows XP Pro is installed successfully, it displays a tutorial screen
along with background music. What is the name( and or artists), responsible
for this music.
Needless to say, my 11 year old granddaughter(already a computer geek) asked
this question and like a fool I volunteered to search for the answer. Google
was no help. Thanks

I think you're referring to a file named title.wma which can be
found in this folder.

C:\WINDOWS\system32\oobe\images

I have no idea who performs the music.

Good luck

Thank you all for taking the time to respond. I went to the address
suggested, C:\windows\system32\oobe\images\title.wma and my windows media
player responded by playing the tune. I must say, it is a very delightful
melody.
It is called Windows Welcome Music and no further information is given. I
did a Google search for "Windows Welcome Music" and discovered that many
souls had asked for identification of the performing artists. No one had a
definitive answer.
I have passed your information on to my granddaughter. It would not surprise
me if Bill Gates is the recipient of an e-mail request for further
information from her.
