When XP starts up it doesn't automatically go to XP it
waits for you to piuck a user. I am wanting it to
automatically log itself in so if the computer rebbots I
don't have to choose a user it auto does it. I ask this
as I am running some programs from work and home and us
Symantec PC Anywhere and If the comp reboots I can't get
into it.

could you send the reply also to

Hi,
To automatically log-on to Windows, type CONTROL USERPASSWORDS2 at start>Run
and press enter. Under the "User" tab, uncheck the box "Users must enter a
username...." and hit apply. Supply the username and password under which
you want your computer to Auto-logon everytime and OK your way out.
