My problem with windows xp pro is that my settings keep changing on there
own. Here is what's happening: 1. when i open my documents folder from the
desktop and the start menu, in the bottom right hand corner there is the
picture icon like the one in the my picture folder and picture tasks is on
the top of the left hand sidebar, 2. when i open my music folder, the same
thing is happening, (my pictures and my video are showing the correct task
in the left hand sidebar) 3. when i open my documents folder in my computer,
this also happening, but all the other folders are fine, 4. when i open the
shared documents in my computer, it shows the picture tasks in the left hand
sidebar, 5. the other 3 folders (shared music, pictures, and video) are
showing as thumbnails and have a pictures that are stored on my D: Drive
showing, and 5. when they are opened, they also have the pictures task in
the left hand side bar. This happens all the time and my computer
manufacturere, Dell, always kept telling me to reload windows. I do not want
to reload windows due to the fact i have at least 25 programs of my own to
put on and that is very time consuming. I also ran my anti virus, which i
always keep up to date, and there aren't any viruses on my computer. I need
to know how to change these settings back to the way they were or how to
repair windows. Thank You
