I have a laptop computer running Win XP Pro (SP2), I regularly connect to my
company's network and have noticed that many security options have now been
'greyed out' ie I can not change then, just an example is the minimum
password length.

How can I regain control of my computer or undo what has been done?

I'm assuming that you are connecting to a domain at your company. The
security policies are set by the domain administrator - your IT Dept.
Talk to them.

Yes I was connected to a domain, I no longer work for this company and wish
to get control back.

EXTREME !!! Just through connecting to a corporate nextwork...

I'm sorry, but I was under the impression that this was a corporate
laptop joined to a domain. Now you're saying it is a home laptop with a
domain account? This is why giving a good, clear description of your
computer and any problems in the first post is a good idea.

Log in locally and make sure things are the way you like them in your
local accounts. If they are, then delete the domain accounts.
