Windows XP pro peer to peer

I have two new XP pro computers and I can't seem to get
them to talk to one another. I can't ping from one machine
to the other and vice versa. The wierd thing is i can ping
each from a Win2000 box and I can get to both XP pro boxes
from the Win2000 machine. I just can't talk XP to XP.
Win2000 to XP works or XP to Win2000. Firewall is off,
simple sharing is disabled. Usually XP will automatically
share everthing you want.

Need some ideas.

Same workgroup name?

Reboot the XP machines?

ICS turned off?

I had a problem similar to yours. Two XP Pro computers
could not see each other on the LAN because their
firewalls were default on. Even after disabling the
firewalls, I had to reboot the machines for them to "see"
each other.
