I have my network set up between my wife's laptop running xp pro and my desktop running xp home. We share a satellite internet connection through my home machine, which works just fine. We can both see each other's computers, and she can access my machine fine, all of my shared folders, etc, however even though I can see her machine on the network I can't access it at all. She has file sharing set and I've gone through dozens of websites, fixes and posts to try and figure out what isn't set yet on her end that is keeping me out, but have yet to be able to get to her machine at all(other than see it on the network). She also has the printer set up on hers, so I'd like to be able to access it also, but my machine can't even find it! Any advice out there? Thanks.

Figured it out! 3rd party firewall was blocking on the other machine, just needed to configure a netbios rule for it in the 3rd party program and voila! thx to other poster who posted a note about 3rd party firewalls...----- bill wrote: -----
