I have a SanDisk Cruzer Mini 256MB flash drive and was
planning on using it to transfer data back and forth from
school to home. I ahve Windows XP Home at home and the
flash drive works flawlessly there. At school though they
run Windows XP Pro and when I try to use the flash drive
the system locks up and I have to reboot. Can someone help
me?

Windows XP Pro has more robust security than the XP Home.
IIRC, administrator privileges are needed to mount/unmount
removable drives.

I have gotten the system administrators to log in under
their administrator accounts and the same problem occurs.
I have also been in a month long e-mail conversation with
SanDisk and so far we have gotten nowhere. We have gone
from trying to remove registry values, using a self
powered USB hub, disabling Legacy USB support, and
changing the file system of the Cruzer Mini from FAT32 to
FAT and nothing has worked.
