I was given a Deskjet 660Cse without the driver CD. Windows XP Pro 2 only
has BASIC Deskjet 660Cse printer drivers. I would like to be able to control
and utilize ALL the features of my printer. When I called HP and asked where
to get updated drivers for my Deskjet 660Cse, I was told that I have to
update my printer. I hate being forced to purchase a new printer when the
one I have is perfectly fine. Any ideas? Thnx!!!!!!

Nobody is forcing you to update the printer.. you will have to go without
full HP support programs because HP have elected not to provide them for XP,
but the printer will still work..

Just go to www.hp.com, search the download area for your printer, and
get the latest version from there. If that is only Windows 2000 - that
just works fine.

Ciao, Tom

HP decided not to include all the features in XP because it's been
discontinued for so long. You can regain most of the using the shareware at
www.fineprint.com if you don't want to buy a new printer.
