Windows XP original theme/ desktop look (default) missing?

Someone set one of my XP PC's to the windows classic theme and I don't know
how to get things back to the original Windows XP look on the desktop. Any
tips would be greatly appreciated.

Go to the Display applet in Control Panel, click the Theme tab and
change the theme to Windows XP, Apply/OK out. Then go to the System
applet, click on Advanced and then the Settings button for Performance.
I usually uncheck everything except "show window contents when
dragging" and "smooth screen fonts". At the very bottom, you want to
check the last two items, "Use drop shadows..." and "Use visual
styles...", Apply/OK out.
