Windows XP - number of copies is ignored.

Now that I Upgraded to XP Professional, if I set a number
of copies greater than 1, it is ignored, as the printer
default is 1. I cannot change the default on the advaced
tab. Basically Word has the printer control the copies,
so I only get 1. Excel prints each copy separate, so I
get as many as I request. This did not happen with Win
98. Any suggestions?
