Windows XP not shutting down when logging off.

When logging off I get a message "END PROGRAM -
WUPDATER.EXE" Program is not responding. If you choose to
end now any unsaved data may be lost...etc. We have 4
users on our computer and everyone get that message when
logging off. It does not matter what program we were
using while on the computer. Any Suggestions??

WUPDATER.EXE is a common file name for virus/trojan and Adware files. Update your Antivirus software, and rescan your system. You may also want to see http://www.lavasoftusa.com/support/download/ for AdAware.
