I thought there were only two editions of Windows XP, ie Home and
Professional. Apparently I have purchased a third version called
Windows XP Moron edition. I am new to Windows XP and while trying to
work my way through it I am constantly interupted by the bubbles
telling me it will need to be activated in 30 days, asking me if I
want to take the tour, and bastradizing me because I don't have virus
protection. The thing telling me I need to activate it in 30 days
comes up about every 10 seconds as if I am a freaking moron. Maybe
there should be an option to have it come up every 2 seconds. I know
there is a way to disable the bubbles but they don't make it convient.
Hey Microsoft, I am not so freaking stupid that I need to be reminded
to activate the god damned thing every ten seconds.

Go back to the crayons and coloring book, moron.

But it appears that you "aren't" smart enough to be using virus protection!
Get some installed and save future grief!

If you knew as much as you thought you know,
You would realize that you don't know what you thought you knew!

Besides Windows XP Home and Pro, You are forgetting Media Center and Tablet
PC.
Disable the bubbles as Rick suggests.
I can understanding waiting a few days to activate, but you must have an
anti virus program before you do anything beyond installing Windows XP.

There is no 'moron' edition, and there is no specific edition used by
morons.. moron (moronic) users span all editions.. for a case in point, read
the ridiculous statement which you will find below my signature and 'quote
of the week'..

It starts off with the line "I thought there were only two editions of
Windows XP......", so is easy to spot..

Stupidest quote I ever heard!

What do you consider hard work?
Digging trenches, or braking rocks maybe?
What about doing intellectual work, sweating over a business idea,
working on a deal for weeks or even month enduring morons in the
process?
I suppose for some that would be torture!
They'd ruther dig trenches stay poor and call themselves hard
working?!

Why are you so uptight about someone who is not happy about how XP
behaves?

He said he was a new user. Apparently he is too busy trying to get
past the bubbles to get to the point of installing virus protection.

Sorry, reading the package it says it was developed by morons. I hear
the next edition will have bigger bubbles that block the entire
desktop and cover whatever you are doing until you close them. They
will also remind you of 100 other things and can be set to pop up
every half a second. Of course there will be no registry hack to get
rid of them.

We are not all as smart as you. Apparently you are so stupid as to
need to be prodded in the ass to activate or take the god damned tour
over and over.

And MS couldn't put an easily accessible option to turn the god
damned bubbles off? No I don't want to take the god damned tour, why
keep asking me? Yes there us a moron edition, it's called Windows XP
and it was made by morons.

And why are you picking on a quote that someone places in his signature
file?

Try to help the original poster - if you can!

If you don't like Windows XP, reformat and install an older version of
windows, if your computer will allow you to.
Better yet, use your Windows Tutorials, and learn how to use Win XP.
