We have been experiencing certain problems with Windows XP
since we implemented it.
1. Files are continually locked up, having to be freed on
the server.
2. It takes a long time to open up network drives.
3. Applications can often stop reseponding, but, more
often then not, will start responding if left alone.
4. Some, not all, XP machines refuse to start up after
login screen.
Extra info - we are running the XP machines on Windows
2000 server. 98 machines do not have the problems
outlined above.
Hope someone can help.
