Hi, hope somebody can help me here.

Here is my problem. I have a small network with tree computers. I am using a
cable modem as input on the WAN side of my router and my three computers are
connected to the other side of the router. Very simple so far. I am using
DHCP and the computers are obtaining there IP automatically. Every thing is
working fine as far as the internet is concerned. I can browse the internet
from all the computers.

The problems start when I want to access (share drive) the other computers
of the network (or the printer). For some reason when I try to browse the
network (with map network drive of explorer) to connect to an other computer
windows does not find any other computer on the network so it is not
possible to share my drive from one computer to an other. I did render all
the C drives of all the computer sharable. I have been able to connect to an
other computer using the IP address directly from the run command
(\\192.168.bla.bla\c$) but it does not work with the names. Also all the
computers are using the same workgroup.

Any special command / setup needed to make a machine visible on the network
??

I am using Windows XP, and it was supposed to be easy they said !

Thanks
