HELP!!! I restored my computer this morning, back to factory settings, now when I sign on to the web, after about 5 mins. I get a pop up that says "shutting down system" Log off...NT Authority/System, it gives me about 1 minute to close all my programs and log off. I have a cable modem and this has never happened before I restored my computer.

When you restored, you probably didn't get the required updates (c. July
2003) and your machine was not protected by a firewall, and you ended up
with the blaster virus. See http://www.microsoft.com/blaster for
instructions.

Hope this is useful to you. Let us know.
