Can you help with this issue.

Cannot find server or DNS Error
Internet Explorer

DNS is working fine as other problems work properly Windows
Expolorer and even Netscape. The problem seemed to happen
during a removal of spyware. The problem I belive is
somewhere in the regestry that tells IE how to look for
DNS. I have uninstalled IE as best as possible as XP will
not let me uninstall completely, I am virus free

Any ideas please help as I do not wish to dull a reinstall
of Windows XP

Thanks

Flexnet,
Symtom: Page cannot be displayed / Cannot find server or DNS Error

In the event you can not access a site and you believe it
may be due to an entry in the HOSTS file.

You can use a simple batch file to rename the HOSTS file "on-the-fly".
