Hi all
I have recently bought a toshiba p20 laptop which came
with 3 recovery cds, but no actual windows xp cd!
the 3 cds are actually just an image that means if you
use them your whole hard drive will be wiped out to just
one huge drive and you'll loose all the data you have.

I called toshiba to see if they provide a REAL seperate
windows xp cd! but they did not even undrestand the
problem( good technical support).
I want to know, does any one know how can you extract the
files from the image and install windows xp YOURSELF?

Thanks

You can't. You'll need to purchase a conventional version of
Windows XP if you don't care to use the Toshiba recovery CDs.
