I have a P3 500 with a 65g HD and was running 98se witch
had 3 partitions on it. I put windows xp cd in and deleted
all three partitions and reformated the intired HD to
NTSF. After it reboots the cd loads the files then
reboots. It then tells me that it cannot install windows
because there is already another os on the HD and then
goes threw the same process over and over again.

Any new sugetions would be appreciated

Sounds like the boot part is still on that drive, in the
master file table. Try formatting with a DOS diskette if
you can get one, or a boot CD and format from there.
