windows xp home

a computer was bought for our plant and at the time was
not to be used in the network. now we would like to use
it for our company network. it has windows xp home. is
there a download that will help us achieve this? or is
there an upgrade that will work.
 
XP home is networkable but there are limitations. I
beleieve it only supports up to 5 concurrent connections
and there is no support for domains. I would suggest
purchasing the upgrade to XP Pro.

XP Pro supports up to 10 concurrent connections and can log onto a
domain.

To clarify, those restrictions (5 for XP HE and 10 for XP PRO) apply
to the number of other PCs which can be concurrently connected to
resources (files and printers) of that XP PC. There is no limit
to the number of outbound connections, from that XP PC to other
stuff on your network.
