Has anyone had any problems associated with using XP Home
edition on a Windows 2000 Domain other than the fact that
the home version is cumbersome to set up (network-wise)???
 
Well, the main issue would be that XP Home cannot join a domain, by design.

Everyone has problems getting XP Home running on a 2000 Domain (or NT or
2003, for that matter)...XP Home is not capable of joining a domain. It can
access domain resources, but cannot be a member of the domain. This is by
design. You'll need XP Pro, not Home.
