My firewire port connects to my DVD writer with no problems. I only ever
connect one device to that port at a time.
I've seen several articles that offer potential hotfixes at
http://support.microsoft.com. Following the instructions for getting the
hotfixes by contacting product support has led me believe that I have to pay
a fee to email someone or have a chat session with product support. Is it
correct that I should expect to pay for contacting product support to get
hotfixes? Or is there some other way.
