Hello,
I am trying to install my Windows XP Home on the new
computer that I built. I formated the Hard Drive and it
goes up to the point that on the screen says "a great way
keep in touch with frineds and family", 34 minutes left,
then monitor shuts down and nothing happens from that
point.
I tried the Win 2000 Pro that I have it worked fine and I
ran it for 24 hours to test the computer. I changed the
motherbord config to upload default. I also went back to
the store that sold me the copy of the window and
exchanged the actual package with a new one, still the
same thing happening to me.
The computer Specs are: Intel P4 2.66Ghz, 1024 MB RAM, ATI
7500 64 DDR RAM, Audiophile 2964 Sound card, D-Link Nic
538TX, 80 GB Western Digital 8 MB Cache Hard Drive, ASUS
P4B Motherbord, 350 Watts ATX Power Supply, LG 52X CDRW
and Legacy floppy Drive.
What do you think I should do next to be able to install
the Windows XP Home Edition.
Regards,
Joseph Lerner
