Windows XP home freezes... why??

My pc works fine apart from that it freezes if I leave it
alone for a while, it's basically just the screen as my
disk drives work. I find myself having to turn the power
off.

Can anyone help, this is very annoying.

You may need more RAM memory!What does your system have?

128,could do this.Also,next time B-4 power down,try esc
button,then push ctrl---alt---del buttons at the same
time.If the task manager comes up click the application
tab click the problem app and click end task.
