Windows XP Home Edition with Office XP (Word)...pls help

Dear MS Newsgroup,

I am using Windows XP Home Edition with Office XP,
evreytime I close an existing Word document, without
making any changes, I am asked whether to save the
document.

Basically, I need to know whether there is an option in
Word, which will allow unedited documents not to be
prompted to be saved.

Please advise.

First, this is a newsgroup for the Windows XP operating system. If you want
to find the Word experts, post in one of the newsgroups for Microsoft Word.

Second, there is no "option in Word, which will allow unedited documents not
to be prompted to be saved" since this is considered to be a valuable
feature.
