systems on my daughters computor at our home(or when she takes her computor
to university in the fall.) In other

The End User License Agreement for your software says that the license
is valid only for installation on a single computer. And because
your software is OEM then the license also says that it is permanently
locked to the first computer that it is installed on and cannot be
transferred to another computer under any circumstances, even if the
original computer is lost, scrapped, destroyed, or stolen.

Now for some good news. When your daughter goes to University she
will have access to Educational versions of many software items,
including Microsoft Windows XP and Microsoft Office, at prices that
are very much lower than the regular retail cost. Furthermore by
getting the software at the University she should get the correct
versions to meet the requirements of the University and of the courses
she will be taken. For example many Universities require that
students have Windows XP Professional Edition in order to access the
campus network.

Good luck
