windows xp home edition - networking

I have 2 PC (xp-home edition installed) I want to make a
simple network inorder to share the Hard disks, printer &
internet connection. could you please suggest a better way
to do this ? (or give me any links to cover this details)

Since you want to share a connection to the 'net, I suggest a
router. Start here:

First you will need some means of physicaly networking the computers. For
this I recommend going with a cat5e ethernet setup. Each computer needs a
ethernet card, and then you need a crossover cat5 cable to connect the two.

After you have this hardware all you need to do is run the network setup
wizard included in XP and your all set.
