Hello

I have two Windows XP Home PCs, I have installed Simply
Accounting 9 on both PCs but my companies database only
resides on one of the PCs. I have tried to set the other
XP PC up to read the data files but so far I have had no
luck. I have tried the following documents with out any
luck: 304040, 307874, 308418, 308419, 813940, 814003,
814004.

Any ideas

What precisely happens (or doesn't!) when you try to access the files? Can
you "see" the other computer in Network Places?

.
I can see the other computer in Network Places, I can
even copy files of the other computer but when I try to
open the data files I get an "Access denied" error message

Does it make a differance that the data files are located
under the C:\Program Files\ directory?
