Windows XP folder-setting enforcer?

Is there any program that will directly set a maintained folder view and
settings? For example, if I want P:\PHOTOS to be thumbnailed icons that
are aligned-to-grid and auto-arranged, but Explorer won't remember this,
this program would /force/ the correct view to be shown. (Explorer's lack
of settings-memory in this regard is /so/ annoying.) Thanks.

Go to http://www.kellys-korner-xp.com/xp_tweaks.htm and apply number
2. Increase Folder View Size Limit to 8000. this should solve the
problem.

In Widows Explorer click Tools/Folder Options/View/ then tick
"Remember each folders view settings".
Does this help?

Already set previously. Thanks for replying.

Use X-Setup. Go to Appearance,, Explorer,, Settings,, Folder Setting Cache
Size.

XP remembers 400 folder settings by default. Try a larger number, such as
800.

If this works, you owe me. So find out how to make the Explorer Status Bar
always stay on. :)

Go to TweakUI, Explorer,, Customizations. Set "Folder Customizations" to a
value higher than 400, which is default. I use 800.
