Windows XP Files and Settings transfer wizard

After using the files and settings transfer wizard to
move data from one windows XP machine to another XP
machine, when I delete any file it does not show up in
the recycle bin, it just gets deletd, this has occured on
more than one occasion. it only seems to occur on XP to
XP transfers can anyone help in resolving this error
 
Which machine are you deleting files from, the "TO" or "FROM"???
Are you using a crossover cable? How are you deleting the files?
Are you rightclicking and then deleting?
Provide more info for a better response to this post.
