I have several XP Home and XP Pro systems, and some XP
Home systems that have been upgraded to XP Pro. My issue
is with the Address Bar in Windows Explorer. It appears
in XP Home that the Address Bar is disabled. When I
choose it from the View|Toolbars menu, "Address" appears
grayed on the right-side of the toolbar, but it does not
respond to left mouse clicks. On XP Pro, the Address Bar
appears below the toolbar and allows me to enter and view
file paths. And on the XP Home to Pro upgraded systems,
it behaves just as it did in XP Home. How can I get the
Address Bar to appear and behave as it does in XP Pro on
the Home and ugraded systems?
