My new computer with Windows XP is displaying the
System32 Folder at Start-up. I found an article at
www.pcmag.com on this problem, and instructions for
correcting it by editing two Registry keys. In my case,
the PCMag fixes did not work. Can anyone help with this,
please?

It's always wise to first search this group. "System32" brings up dozens
of hits. Here's just one...

System32 Folder Opens When Logging on to Windows

See www.kellys-korner-xp.com/xp_tweaks.htm, Line 260,it will correct
this issue for users with SB Audigy 2 sound cards.
