Windows XP desktop question

Why are my icon titles and desktop shortcuts underlined
in Windows XP? They were fin but somehow a setting has
been changed and now even the file titles under My
Computer are underlined. How do I change them back?
 
Look in Folder Options control panel, on the View tab, in Click Items
section.
