What version of Cubase are you using ?

Could be a dongle problem - see here : http://tinyurl.com/l9q4

If you have a (no it couldn't be, surely not ....) cracked version, well,
you need to get it cracked properly !

As for burning Cubase songs - what format are they in ? If in wave format
Nero will take care of them for you.

Cheers,
Jerry

hi jerry .thanks for reply.........i do have genuine
cubase so i will try to fix dongle..........

im using cubase 5.1..........

i usually just make a song file which allows me to record
midi and audio(vox+elec guitar)...i presume audio is
stored as WAV file.........nero seems to ask me to put
separate WAV files into the bottom section of the files
to be copied(hope this makes sense., i am a singer not a
computer buff).when i did this is was unable to load
songs in new pc..........any help is greatly appreciated

With Nero you need to record a 'mixed' CD ie audio and data so thee are two
things you can try :

* let Nero do its stuff as you incate above and then when you need to
put the stuff on to a new PC, rip the audio track to get it back to wav
format and transfer the Cubase track by copy/paste (change it from read only
once on your HD). Import into Cubase

* burn everything as 'data'. You will then only have to copy/paste the
wav file(s) + the Cubase files, not fogetting to change the rad only
atttributes. Import them into Cubase.

I have Cubasis 4, without the dongle protection. It has its own CD burning
capabilities, which, if I remember correctly the new SX software has.

Cheeers,
Jerry
