XP doesn't like DOS programs. Often the program runs in a
half-screen mode. You have to press ALT+ENTER to get full
screen. If you installed DB3 using the DOS prompt, try re-
installing it using START->RUN->A:\(whatever the .EXE
file name is-- ?? dbase ??
Sometimes when you install a DOS program using WINDOWS
and not using the XP DOS command prompt, the program
might run better and print OK. Nothing to lose-- try
it.
