I am looking for a white paper or documentation on the effects of
implementing Applciation Compatibility Mode to run legacy applications and
the effects on Windows Security...

Thanks for your help... and your commentary... However did you bother to
read this document? There is no real security aspects in it...

It's even more amazing what a google search CANNOT find!

Of course I didn't bother to read the document; the subject isn't
something I'm interested in and my time is limited. If the white paper
didn't meet your needs, did you check for any links associated with it?
Did you spend some time searching around TechNet (a great resource for
advanced tech subjects)? Did you look on other security sites (which
you can find with Google if you don't know them) like SecurityFocus,
etc.? If you are a developer, did you look on MSDN or in the MS
newsgroups aimed at developers? On other non-MS security newsgroups?

You should consider:

1) Reservering your commentary to a subject you know and understand.
2) Taking the arrogance out of your posts.
3) Disassociate yourself with the MVP status that you think you deserve...

These newsgroups are here as a forum for Microsoft customers to discuss and
solve problems not for you to antagonize the masses... Doofis!
