When the XP systems try to browse a mapped drive on a
Windows NT 4.0 server it take a long time to open any
folders. IT works fine with Windows98 or 2000. How can I
fix this problem.

I got the same problem but my server is 2000 and new XP
pro clients take so long to access share folders. I
havent been able to fix it for months.

Eddie,

Make sure your XP box has an account on the NT server. You may need to
re-add the XP box (I assume it's Pro) to the NT4 domain. NT4 needs to be
SP6a.
