I am trying to load XP on to a new computer. The bios recognizes the hard drive. When I boot from the disc the set up is loaded up to the install Windows XP Prompt (press enter). Windows then says that it cannot find the hard drive. The hard drive is connected to the mother board via SATA. Any ideas?

do you have the jumpers set correctly?

Do you need to load 3rd party driver during the set-up process. I think it
prompts to press F6 (not absolutely sure) at the beginning.
