I use windows xp pro, 256MB of RAM, total capacity for hard disks is
37GB,
and has a lot of free spaces. Recently I started the computer, a blue
screen occured and showed the computer "dumping physical memory to
disk". Sometimes it kept showing the message and rebooting. How could
I fix this problem?
We would need to know the Stop Error in order to help you. The next time
you get the blue screen, write down the Stop Error and research it
here:

You also need to ask yourself The First Question Of Troubleshooting:
what changed between the time things worked and the time they didn't?
If you haven't made any changes, installed anything new, updated
drivers, etc. then it is probable that one or more hardware components
is failing. Since you say you have a 40GB hard drive, your computer is
probably on the elderly side. Here are some hardware troubleshooting
steps:

Testing hardware failures often involves swapping out suspected parts
with known-good parts. If you can't do the testing yourself and/or are
uncomfortable opening your computer, take the machine to a professional
computer repair shop (not your local equivalent of BigStoreUSA).
