WinXP makes the login screen available before the
wireless network card is connected to the network. If I
wait roughly 2 to 3 minutes, I am able to login. How can
I slow down the boot process so that the login screen is
not available until the wireless network is also
available?

I'm not sure if that's possible because XP has to boot up to load the
drivers for the wireless network adapter then receive an available wireless
signal. I've seen it boot so fast it thinks it can not reconnect mapped
drives. In Windows Explorer it even displays the mapped drive icons as
disconnected. But, accessing them in Windows Explorer shows they are
actually connected. If you find a work-around, or fix for this, please post
for the group.
