windows XP and NT

Hello,

Does anyone know why my new Windows XP will not content to
my old network that runs on NT. I have done all,
including instal NetBUIS, but to no avail. Any help
appreciated.

If your XP is XP HE, that's why: XP HE cannot join a domain.
XP PRO can. XP HE can connect to individual resources in a
domain, but that is a PITA.
