I set my new computer into 2 users - me and my wife. We
both use the same ISP but have 2 different email
addresses.
mY wife uses Microsofr Outlook and I use Incredible Mail.

problem; If I set the options to use Outlook for my wife -
- same Outlook is set for me.
We are trying to split this function so that She can
receive her own emails on our own Email Format. -- that
is I want to have Incredible mail and she wants Outlook.

Can you help?

If your all your (you and your wife's) incomming emails
go one ISP (ie. mail.myisp.com) then you have to set up
and have the option of leaving a copy of the mail on the
ISP.

In other words, when you access your email using Outlook
Express from your ISP then it will download all the
messages (you and your wife's) to Outlook Express.

So, if you setup the connection to "leave a copy at the
ISP server", then you're wife will be able to download
all the same messages into her email program.

You can do this with two computers and have each setup
different.

For the option:

Start Outlook Express, and click on "Tools" and
select "Accounts".

In the Internet Accounts window, click on the "Mail" tab
and then the "Properties" button. Finally in the
Properties window, click on the "Advanced" tab. Here
you'll see the option "Leave a copy of messages on
server", plus some other options you can fiddle with.

Notice that you can also set it up so if you delete a
message, your wife will not be able to download it since
you "told" the server to delete it as well.

There may be a similar option in your other mail reader--
but maybe not.

That will set it up so that you both can access the
messages from the same ISP.

I'm not sure that incredimail uses outlook, but outlook can be configured with
multiple profiles. That is, you can configure a profile for your wife with her
email address, and then create another profile for yourself with your email
address, and finally to eliminate any confusion when starting outlook, have
outlook prompt you for a profile to use when you start it. Here's how to do it:
1) Right-click outlook>properties>show profiles. At this point there will be
just one already-your wife's. Make sure the starting profile is set to 'Prompt
for a profile to be used'.
2) Click the add button and give it a profile name, preferably yours and click
ok.
3) Click 'view or change existing email accounts'>next. Configure your email
settings, and separate data folder if you wish.
4) Click finish and when you open outlook, it should provide you with a drop
down list of profiles to use and you choose the ones you want.
