Windows XP and I.E. Error

Just recent re-installed Windows XP Home. My version was update to 5.1.2600 build 2600. I am using I.E v6.0.2800 with 2 updates on top of that. Some of the website I am trying to access give me an error of Can not Display Page. The source reads, "<!DOCTYPE HTML PUBLIC "-//W3C//DTD HTML 3.2 Final//EN"><html><head><style
a:link {font:8pt/11pt verdana; color:red
a:visited {font:8pt/11pt verdana; color:#4e4e4e
</style><meta HTTP-EQUIV="Content-Type" Content="text-html; charset=Windows-1252"><title>Cannot find server</title></head><SCRIPT

Any suggestions

Install Java
http://java.sun.com/j2se/1.4.2/download.html
