Lori

I recently had to reprogram my whole computer including
programming windows xp into my system through dell. Now
when I turn on my computer mine and my mothers name comes
up like I wanted but under my name it say one unread
email. Then when I go to aol I have no emails. I called
aol they thought it was because I had more than one email
name that is not true. Mother and I both use my email
name and we only have aol that I know of. I tried
contacting microsoft and the want to charge me to talk to
a technical support which I just don't have the money to
do. I Pray that someone can help me out there. PLEASE.

Ron bashed at the keyboard and said :
It's probably the "Welcome to Outlook Express" e-mail that is
auto-inserted into your Inbox [in OE] with a fresh install of XP.
Open OE and see if this is the case. (Obviously, you can delete it
if you find it there.)

Please post a follow-up.
Ron

Would you have the "welcome" email if you haven't set an account up ?

Hmm. Well...one of the wonderful aspects of this remote-diagnosing is the
unknown, eh? One never knows exactly what the OP may or may not have done
PRIOR to calling for help! (Perhaps she - or another user - DID launch OE.
Just once, perhaps. If that's all it takes, then that would do it.
Presumably. In any case, I guess we'll solve this mystery shortly. Maybe
even tonight!
