Just a few common questions but must be asked.

If you have a genuine windows xp cd with COA and EULA etc.. and u made a
backup copy of it, then for some reason .. further down the track lost ,
u lost the original cd. If you then sold the pc later with the
neccesserry documents, would that still be classified as piracy. ? Even
though you still have the EULA and everything.

Second question is will genuine product keys (that is keys that came
with the original cd) work on pirated versions and visa versa?

You finish off calling it a pirated copy :)))

It's all about the Key, copies don't count.

"You may sell your copy of Windows XP Home. Before doing so, you are
responsible for making sure the buyer agrees to all rules in this
EULA" http://linuxadvocate.org/articles.php?p=1

No, I don't think that would be piracy. It's the EULA and the Product
Activation key that really define the copy of Windows, not the CD
(which, of course, is useless without an activation key).

The definition of a "pirated version" of Windows is a pirated / invalid
/ counterfeit COA and/or product key. Again, the CD really isn't the
key component.
